Vera’s becoming more alert every day.  I took this series yesterday for Wes, who misses a lot of the fun stuff while he’s at work.  She’s looking at a red bird on the side of one of her blocks.  Please excuse the poor composition in the photos.  I took these while resting her on my legs, holding a block in my left hand, and the camera in my right (oh, and I’m left-handed).

Anyway, the smile she gave me this morning when I got her out of bed melted my heart.  I am really looking forward to making her laugh.  I guess that’s coming soon!
