I heard about this yesterday on the John Tesh radio show (I know, don’t unfollow me, I had the radio on scan and I stopped it when I heard him say “a new solution for lost pets…”).
Anyway, I think this is a bad idea. It sounds like a good idea, until you get to the part where it calls (up to 5000 of) your neighbors to let them know you lost a pet and gives them the pet stats and contact information. I immediately hang up on or quickly delete any automated call/message I get, and I would imagine many others do as well. It also (rightly) does not call people on the “do not call” list. It just seems like a waste of money.
